Wooden Cutting Fruit Set with Whiteboard

Ages 3+

Slice the apple, halve the watermelon, serve the avocado. Each wooden fruit is joined with Velcro, so the included wooden knife "cuts" it with a satisfying rip — then it presses back together for the next round. The double-sided board doubles as a whiteboard for drawing today's fruit stall specials.

Why we picked it: That Velcro cut is a brilliant bit of design — the resistance and the sound make slicing feel real, and the push-and-cut motion is genuine two-handed coordination practice. It's also a lovely, playful way to build fruit vocabulary and warm kids up to what's on their own plate.

What's inside:

• Wooden pretend fruits — apple, grapes, avocado, watermelon, and more — with Velcro joins
• Wooden knife and cutting board
• Fun fruit activity cards
• Double-sided board: play side and whiteboard side

What it builds: Fine motor skills and two-handed coordination, imaginative market-and-kitchen play, and fruit names learned through play. Pairs perfectly with our Wooden Cutting Food Set for a complete pretend kitchen.
